An icon is a religious work of art, most commonly a painting, from Eastern Christianity and in certain Eastern Catholic churches.
In Eastern Christianity the icon is generally a flat panel painting depicting a holy being or object such as Jesus, Mary, saints, angels, or the cross.
The small geo-cut beads are rust colored with matching gold-sparkled round beads. The accent bead is turquoise colored. The icon in the front may be an illustration of the Blessed Mother.
